Reports are divided into several sections on the following pages click on Annual Financial Reports or Monthly Financial Reports below.    * Department Heads can view their monthly budget reports at Department Reports.

Monthly Financial Reports

Monthly Revenue Reports -  Detailed report of the Cities revenue sources that grows monthly throughout the year.

Monthly Expense Reports -  Detailed report of the Cities expenditures that grows on a monthly basis throughout the year.  This report breaks down each departments expenses by accounting key.  The current appropriations (budget) is listed in the report for each department.

Expenses by Department - An at-a-glance look at the year to date expenses of each department.

Earnings Tax Revenue Graph -  A monthly graph of earnings tax revenue compared over the past 4 years.  This is updated monthly.

Earnings Tax Year to Date Chart -  A year to date comparison of 4 years of earnings tax revenue.   This is updated monthly.

Expense Pie Chart -  These charts show the breakdown of the General Fund budget and previous years expenses.

Budgetary Changes -  A detailed report of the initial appropriations (budget) and each change made to the appropriations throughout the year with explanations of all the changes made.

Bank Report -  Bank balance, encumbrances (open purchase orders), and overall budgetary totals for the City.

Annual Financial Reports

Modified Cash Basis Report -  An annual report prepared by the Auditor's office using the cash basis form of accounting.

GAAP Report -  An annual report prepared by the Norwood Auditor's office using the accrual basis of accounting.  This report is in compliance with the  Generally Accepted Accounting Principles established by the General Accounting Office.

State Audits - Yearly external audits of the City performed by the State of Ohio.

Performance Audit - Evaluation and recommendations of the City and its services by the State of Ohio.

Fiscal Watch Analysis -  A report prepared by the State of Ohio analyzing the financial state and future of the City of Norwood.
